INGENIOUS WEPOLIT SOCIETY (IWS, LASU) ORGANISES HER FIRST ANNUAL ESSAY COMPETITION

The first and official writers' society of Lagos State University (LASU), INGENIOUS WEPOLIT SOCIETY (IWS), herewith put out a call for entries for her first annual essay competition.

Specifically, participants are to write an essay on the topic : 

"Moral Decadence: Today's Nigerian Teenagers and the Fetish for Money Rituals."

Note:- Eligibility is open to all undergraduates of Lagos State University, regardless of level and department.

Entries should be submitted to [email protected] on or before March 13, 2022.

Creativity, organisation, depth of ideas, punctuation, cohesion, coherence and unity shall be judged in the essay. The essay should not be more than 700 words in a word document and must have the full name, department, level, and active phone number of the participant. The winners shall be given :

• First Position - N15,000

• Second Position - N10,000

• Third Position - N5,000

Kindly note that any entry beyond the deadline shall not be considered.
