No Reconciliatory Meeting Held, No Consensus Candidate And No Primary Election On Ibarapa East State House Of Assembly – Ibarapa APC Stakeholders Debunk Allegations

  

In response to an alleged agreement of the Ibarapa East’s All Progressive Congress Stakeholders as regards the party’s flag bearer for the ticket of the Ibarapa East State House of Assembly, the APC Youth Leader and other stakeholders of the party has voiced out, debunking the allegations. 

It was made known that there has neither been a primary election held nor a fixed date for a meeting on the next action of the primary election, “as of today, there has not been any primary election held, no consensus candidate and no party flag bearer for IBARAPA EAST STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY FOR 2023 ELECTION”.

Dear Progressives, 

We read your article with the above caption and was compelled to write a rejoinder because of the inaccuracies it conveyed.  The article only succeeded in exposing your political ignorance of what has been happening as regards the Ibarapa East State House of Assembly. This is not surprising to us because you don't have knowledge of the voting system, party system, electioneering campaign, and have no clue of current Nigeria electoral law. Perhaps, is it due to some deliberate intellectual, personal interest and political mischief?

 We are highly disappointed with that article and the other ones you have previously written on the social media. It is obvious from your article that your sole and personal decision was to attack our political personality, but it ended up with series of contradictions and lack of scholarship.

In view of this, I, Hon. Segun Kolawole, Mr. Kunle Adeyemo (The youth leader of All Progressives Congress Ibarapa East Chapter, Com. Segun Ojediran (the All Progressives Congress party chairman, Ibarapa East, and the entire members of All Progressives Congress (APC) Ibarapa East Chapter are yet to decide and fix a day or date for any meeting on our next line of action on the issue of Ibarapa East State House of Assembly ticket. Thus, we did not attend any political meeting and there is nothing of such meeting held in Lanlate. Both you and All Progressives Congress Ibarapa East Chapter and Oyo State would be communicated after a due consultation, legal consultation and comprehensive analysis on the Ibarapa East State House of Assembly flag bearer and the day for our party APC meeting.

Moreover, it must be unequivocally stated here that, as of today, there has not been any primary election held, no consensus candidate and no party flag bearer for IBARAPA EAST STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY FOR 2023 ELECTION.
