Explosion Rocks Sabon Gari In Kano, Many Feared Dead

 

A large explosion in Kano State's Sabon Gari neighbourhood is believed to have killed several persons and injured others. 

The incident's details are still sketchy at the time of filing this report, but it was learned that the explosion happened around 9 a.m. near a primary school on Court Road near Aba Road, affecting many children. 

It was unclear whether the explosion was caused by a bomb or a gas explosion. 

Meanwhile, the police anti-bomb team and a number of security units have arrived at the scene.
